After an early morning arrival onto French soil, the plan was to drive direct to Buchholz in der Nordheide, Lower Saxony, with a refreshment stop at Duisburg Bissingheim for breakfast and a few, with luck, freights. As it turned out, freights were almost constant, Saturday AM and 15 in 90 minutes was a good start to the trip. After arriving at the hotel in Buchholz and a quick refresh and a beer, the 2 minute walk to the station, for the last of the evening sun, saw the surprise movement of the RailAdventure 139 moving the first European spec. full body width Turkish built "Class 70" to Berlin for InnoTrans 2012. If you think the UK 70s' are ugly, think again!
